SPRECKELSVILLE REAL ESTATE

Spreckelsville, located just west of Paia, was named for its founder Claus Spreckles. In the late 1800’s this sugar baron,Spreckelsville Real Estate originally from Germany, enhanced his Hawaii fortunes with the outright purchase of 41,000 acres in and around Wailuku. East of Wailuku he built Spreckelsville, and cultivated sugar cane fields from Kahului to Haiku. He then started Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Company (HC&S).

Today this upscale North Shore Community has become a haven for windsurfers from all over the world. The Maui Country Club with its tennis facility and golf course is located in Spreckelsville.  Nearby is Baldwin Beach and famous “Baby Beach”.  A tranquil tidal pool created by the shelter of the reef makes “Baby Beach” ideal for families with young children.  Two other great windsurfing beaches on the North Shore are Sprecks Beach, and Kanaha Beach Park located between Spreckelsville and the Kahului Airport. Its amenities and location make Spreckelsville and its adjacent coast line a popular choice for both windsurfers, and kama’aina families.
